J.R. Hull Co., Inc. was formed in
1980 to assist small to mediumsized firms in improving
operations and financial results through a creative strategic
planning process. As the client work has progressed, the
firm has focused on the element of value building as it's core
product.
In order to increase value, J.R. Hull
Co. has developed a set of products and services that provide
a structure for the work related to value enhancement.
The following are some of those enhancements. Visioneering
A unique approach to
planning that allows the client to envision itself in the
future and build the steps necessary to arrive at that
future. Using formats and technology used by
screenwriters the members of a client firm create a compelling
story for their future. The consultant teaches the
techniques, adds ideas and concepts, and assists in pulling
the story together
Internal Initiatives
One of the primary
drivers for business value is productivity. This is
enhanced by providing a unique performance based compensation
plan for the employees called the IGS Plan-- a copyrighted
plan of J.R. Hull Co. To support this plan a specially
designed time-management program and personal leadership
system is implemented.
External Initiatives
Sales and Marketing
issues are addressed with the consulting firm's Client
Creation System. This system is based on client problem
solving and a disciplined approach by the sales force.
Individual sales productivity is evaluated and a unique
"Rainmaker System" may be employed to support these
efforts. Mergers and Acquisitions are planned if
appropriate, but done so on an active basis as opposed to a
passive one used by most firms.
Employee Involvement
The consultant works
with the employees monthly to help in their work on the
business issues that will reflect in increased business value.
The Measurement
System
Using software designed
to value and track value enhancement, J.R. Hull Co provides
measurement tools to the firm that will reflect the value
growth.
